The ending of the fast does not mean that that Annaism lost its charm.
It does not mean that people of India have lost interest in fighting out corruption.
The pause in peoples' enthusiasm could mean that they are giving time to the government, as parliament debates the Lokpal bill.
Perhaps there are more question than answers.
While there could be different views to these questions, but I would certainly see this as a lull before the storm.
Anna-ism may have lost its charm for the time being, but the fire he has kindled especially amongst the youth, would certainly burn for years to come.
Mass mobilisation is an art, but the Anna movement showed how technology played its role and making us wonder how Gandhi was successful when communication technology was rudimentary.
The middle class leadership in Anna movement clearly indicate that the uprising would certainly not die down so easily, as history has shown that they have successful whenever they led it, though it may take little long.
Certainly, the debate in parliament has taken the sheen out of the latest call of Anna, yet the double speak of politicians would certainly re-ignite the fire and take the movement to new highs.
People rallied behind Anna, as he was only a catalyst, and they were fed up with corruption.
